Retailers price domestic delivery to sell, and international delivery to deter
A retailer in Manchester will post across Britain for a few pounds. Ask the same retailer to post to São Paulo and the price triples, the delivery estimate doubles, or the checkout declines the order outright. For a great many shops, international customers are simply not served.
Placing a local address between the retailer and the customer removes that constraint. The shop makes a domestic delivery on domestic terms. We take it from there — and because we ship at business volume rates, the leg the customer pays for is usually cheaper than the retailer would have charged.
